Functions include fast rotation, display of 3D images on stereoscopic displays, interactive shadow projection, even combined with transparency projections, isosurface render mode, orthogonal sections, annotations, 3D crop tool, or editing of 4D data sets to produce impressive animated movie sequences.
LAS X 3D Visualization is available as Basic and Advanced Module.
Software for modern non-metallic inclusion rating Leica Steel Expert 2.0
Quality is essential. The quality of steel is heavily dependent on purity – which is defined by several factors, such as the amount of non-metallic inclusions. Inclusions can develop when alloying and manufacturing the steel and will affect forming, fatigue strength and corrosion resistance.
Whether for quality control, incoming goods inspection or rating of liability cases, if you have to assess the purity of steel, Leica Steel Expert 2.0 is the software of choice. With only a minimum amount of training you will be able to simply and reliably classify non-metallic inclusions such as sulphides, oxides or even carbonitrides.
In addition to routine non-metallic inclusion rating according to standards like ASTM E45, DIN 50602, EN 10247 and ISO 4967 and the standards based on it, Leica Steel Expert 2.0 can be used in R&D to facilitate the determination and analysis of small inclusions down to the limits of optical resolution.
Sharing Microscope Images on an iPad Leica DMshare
Leica DMshare allows the wireless transfer of images of selected Microscope Cameras to one or multiple iPad®.
Leica DMshare provides a live display of what you and the camera can see wireless on one or multiple iPads. This makes it easy to visualize images and share the microscope experience with others. This feature is enhanced further when multiple users are connected to the same camera – an excellent setup for teaching and discussion. Taking a picture is easy; you simply tap anywhere inside a large Live Image area on the iPad screen. This design makes it possible to capture images on the iPad whilst viewing through the oculars of your microscope.
Surface Imaging and Metrology Software Leica Map
Leica Map Start is the entry level software package of the Leica Map series. It is used for viewing and analyzing surface geometry and surface texture from LAS Montage depthmap images.
